In a celebration of leadership excellence, Jacob Garza, founder of REEP, was recognized as a 2024 San Antonio Business Journal C-Suite Awards honoree. Among twelve exemplary leaders acknowledged this year, Jacob’s contributions were spotlighted during a special luncheon hosted by the Journal, where influential figures who drive progress in San Antonio were celebrated.

Since founding REEP Equity in 2012, Garza has demonstrated his expertise as a seasoned entrepreneur with 33 years of experience, including 12 years in multifamily real estate. He leads a committed team of 185 professionals, consistently achieving success in acquiring, managing, and selling profitable properties. Under Garza’s leadership, REEP manages assets worth over $720 million across 5,200 units in key Texas markets, notably without any capital loss or capital calls. 

Garza’s dedication to excellence is evident in his dual focus on investor satisfaction and resident experience through REEP Residential, the company’s in-house management arm. His visionary approach has established him as a respected industry influencer and a sought-after thought leader, educating others on the advantages of passive investing in multifamily real estate and the power of in-house management. 

Before REEP, Garza founded Property Automation Software, the leading property management software for small to mid-sized companies. The program served 21,000 customers across nine countries and managed over 3.9 million units before Garza successfully sold it in 2007 as the sole shareholder.
